Muay Thai and Krabi Krabong

Muay Thai is the devastating "science of 8 limbs" (also known as "the king of martial arts") from Thailand developed over 1000's of years.
The exact date of the creation of this fighting art is not known but it is widely believed to be over 2000 years old. Many other martial arts are believed to be this ancient (Krabi Krabong, Thailand's weapons art) though many of them were only created in the last 100 years (Aikido, Taekwondo, Karate).
It is considered to be the hottest style of kickboxing to hit the sports world this decade. Thai boxers integrate the use of their legs and fists so that all four limbs are utilized in one fluid, savage, yet clean style. The Muay Thai workout improves the cardiovascular system, increases strength and muscle tone, while developing balance and coordination. The combative skills developed make this fighting art the easiest and most effective form of self-defense. Realizing this, many nations all over the world have inserted this art in the hand to hand combat techniques of their most elite special forces.
