Safety Harbor's Muay Thai Classic VI was a great promotion with over twenty five fights, sanctioned by the W.S.D.K.A! Four of our fighters were selected to represent our gym at this event. They had trained hard for a good four weeks with instructors Ryan Roflo and Andi & Stefan Butin Bik. Andi had taken care of the nutrition aspects, as well as breathing techniques and very specific technical improvements on all four fighters. Ryan had prepared them physically with special ring training, pad work and hard sparring, and Stefan had prepared them mentally through special drills (the dutch way) to improve their aggression, toughness and attitude, of course all very necessary aspects to win in the ring...
And the hard training paid off!! Stephen Cummins won his fight by TKO, James Rugar was crazy enough to fight a second time when offered and won both fights by TKO, Dustin Robbins kept his cool against a monster (some of us might have bet on the other guy)! and Jeremy Parrish earned himself the nickname "Tazman" (watch the tape) All great wins against very tough and game opponents.

Great job to all who were involved. Special thanks and congrats to Ryan Roflo, Andi Butin Bik and Stefan Butin Bik. And also special thanks to Doug Berry and Mr Parrish (Jeremy's dad) for their invaluable help, Pamela Erlandson for video taping the fights, Jim Cummins and kids (no they are not Stefan's kids), and everyone else who came out to support our team.
Stefan gained some more grey hairs in the corner and Ryan would have also if he only had hair....
